The Pastoral Council is a selected number of parishioners who, by sharing their gifts and talents, work with the pastor to enable him to extend his own pastoral ministry. They offer the pastor aid, support, and advice on any matter he wishes to bring before them by making practical recommendations that are made through a process of investigation and reflection.
The councilors offer the Pastor consultation regarding the focus, guidance and monitoring of the Parish’s ministries. The aim of the pastoral council is one of pastoral planning that fosters the activity of the parish so that it more closely conforms to that of the message of the Gospel and to assist in the parish’s apostolic work.
A councilors term is three years and two terms are possible. We meet in the evening the third Thursday of every month.
